Hilversum uses three routes: drawings from 1901–2000 through its search page, permits from 2001–April 2010 through Archief Gooi en Vechtstreek, and later permits through the municipal contact form. The reference attached to a digital drawing can help locate the paper file.
Preparing a dormer in the context of the whole roof
For a dormer, provide more than the supplier’s front elevation. A house section and available roof framing drawings help explain the existing supports. Show the dormer’s position within the roof slope and identify existing openings. Also mention any proposed fixed staircase, which may create a separate floor assessment requirement.
