Where can you find local information?
Gemeentearchief Venlo states that building files, drawings and environmental permits have been digitised, but requests are handled by other municipal teams. Its property records page links to the correct municipal route. A historical reading-room appointment is therefore not the indicated way to request these documents.
Preparing new construction beside existing buildings
A new building may require records for adjacent parts of your property where connections are proposed. Distinguish new construction from affected existing elements. Provide the site plan, design and available ground information as separate documents. A cadastral boundary or historic map does not establish foundation capacity; that requires project-specific information.
These points help you prepare. They are not an assessment of a particular property.
Three actions to prepare your enquiry
- Use the municipal records route indicated by the archive.
- Mark the relationship between new and existing structures.
- Include location information with any ground investigation.
What scope fits your proposal?
Send the records you have found together with your proposed changes. We discuss the calculations, structural drawings and any additional information required. An archive record describes a documented situation; its correspondence with the current building needs assessment. The quotation defines the work and price.
Check permits and other consents separately for the project address. Our structural approval guarantee covers additions to our own documents within the agreed scope. The municipality decides on planning and permit approval.
